The movie is a fascinating look at mob life. But I don’t think it’s the best example of its genre. The characterization isn’t perfect, and some of the scenes feel rushed or unearned. There are some great moments, though. Like Ace ordering the kitchen staff to put exactly one blueberry in every muffin, or the airborne feds’ plane running out of fuel while spying on hoods on a golf course.
