Poker is a card game in which players place chips into the pot to bet on their hands. A player can win the pot by having the best hand or by bluffing other players. The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, sometimes with one or two jokers. The cards are dealt to the players in groups of five, beginning with the player to their left.<\/p>\n
Each betting interval, called a “round,” begins when the player to the left of the dealer puts in a mandatory bet, called a blind, worth one or more chips.
